The BODE Index stands for Body mass index, Airflow Obstruction, Dyspnea, and Exercise is a multidimensional scoring system or capacity index used to test and predict long-term outcomes for patients who have been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The index uses the four factors to predict the risk of death from the disease.
