The BODE Index stands for Body-Mass Index, Airflow Obstruction, Dyspnea, and Exercise is a multidimensional scoring system[disambiguation needed] or capacity index for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease patients. The index uses the four factors for predicting the risk of death from the disease.
