C-Bus is a home automation protocol that is used in Australia, c-bus is currently on its way to the u.k and quiet a few countries are now suing this new protocol as opposed to x10 home automation which is somewhat dated comared to the new and more functional cbus system. The c-bus system involves completly new wiring in place of the standard english wiring sytem however the system can still be relativly cheap to install.

The protocal can be used to control various household items via remote control and can also be used as a hight tech security system. C-bus is much highly regarded over X10 as the amount of disturbance it causes is so small that it means that more than one signal can be sent simoultaniously, whereas x10 can only interpret one signal at a time.
