Proposed deletion of And?

The article And? has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Appears to be a non-notable song: title too unspecific to make into a redirect to the artist biog.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TheLongTone (talk) 22:50, 19 August 2014 (UTC)
- Just to add to the above...There is little point in creating articles about songs unless there is a clear & referenced claim to notability...chart appearances, serious critical attention &c. Also, both the above article and Can't Even C It incorporate huge chunks simply lifted from the biog...for this reason I changedCan't Even C It into a redirect to the biog. I would concentraye on finding sources for this to establish notability.TheLongTone (talk) 22:58, 19 August 2014 (UTC)

Hello Bling$. Did you notice that the file was deleted three times? If you have permission from the photographer/copyright holder, then the best solution is to ask them to email the OTRS team at permissions-en@wikimedia.org using the format at WP:CONSENT. When that email has been sent, you can add the {{OTRS pending}} template to the file page. If the permission is confirmed, an OTRS agent will add a confirmation template. Don't worry if the image is deleted because it can always be undeleted if need be, but please avoid uploading the file repeatedly. Green Giant (talk) 23:02, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
- Green Giant Done that thanks though; the photographer allowed it. Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 14:30, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- A twitter feed is not good enough. There needs to be an email from the photographer to OTRS. Also you keep uploading this photo with inappropriate templates attached which make the issue more confusing. Please do not upload the image again until the permission issue is satisfactorily resolved. As Green Giant states the image can be undeleted easily once permission has been received and confirmed. Nthep (talk) 14:39, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- Nthep; nah that was about a different picture Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 14:58, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- The principle remains the same, don't keep uploading an image until the permission is sorted out. Nthep (talk) 15:01, 24 August 2014 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Dina Rae (singer).jpeg

Thank you for uploading File:Dina Rae (singer).jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Eeekster (talk) 18:13, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- @Eeekster: it's all sorted out :) Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 18:16, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:The Dina Rae Show.jpeg

Thanks for uploading File:The Dina Rae Show.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 18:18, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- @Stefan2:, the article was deleted; people reached the verdict that it should be deleted; so I guess we can delete the picture, do you know how I can archive my talk page as I have to scroll to reach the new subject? Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 18:21, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- As the file currently is unused, someone will delete it in approximately one week, unless it is added to a page somewhere.
- For archiving, add something like this at the top of the page:
{{User:MiszaBot/config | algo=old(7d) | archive=User talk:Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$/Archive %(counter)d | counter=1 | maxarchivesize=100K | archiveheader={{Automatic archive navigator}} | minthreadsleft=4 | minthreadstoarchive=1 }}
- With that code, all sections will be archived seven days after the latest edit. --Stefan2 (talk) 18:33, 24 August 2014 (UTC)

Please do not remove file deletion tags from file description pages on Wikipedia, as you did to File:Dina Rae (singer).jpeg, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. No, it isn't "sorted out". Eeekster (talk) 18:22, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- @Eeekster:, I've e-mailed Glenn Francis, he's given consent and I've e-mailed Wikipedia's picture department what else needs to happen? Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 18:24, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- Read the message. There's no license on the image. Eeekster (talk) 18:26, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- I did tell you not to reload the image until the permission had been processed, but you ignored the advice and this is the result. I am an OTRS agent and I can't find any tickets relating to Glenn Francis or Dana Rae, so you had better chase things up or the image will be deleted (again!) Nthep (talk) 18:35, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- @Nthep: Can you re-phrase that please, it sounded a bit condesending; and I've e-mailed them; as per norm on a Sunday; it'll be easier to contact God himself then anyone but I'll try Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 18:54, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- You can read it however you want, but several times it has been suggested to you that you don't reload the image until the permission has been sorted out. You've stated you've submitted an email to OTRS and I'm informing you that I can't find any trace of an email relating to this image. The deletion tag has a 7 day period on it so there is that time to get a response from the photographer and for that to be submitted so there's no immediate danger of deletion just that you can't sit back and do nothing. Nthep (talk) 19:04, 24 August 2014 (UTC)

wikimedia.org you or info
wikimedia.org to wasn't it as I have searched quite hard and found nothing relating to this image? Nthep (talk) 19:45, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- @Nthep: they said they sent it with the subject "Consent to use the pictures for Dina Rae (singer)" has anyone checked the Junk mail part? Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 19:53, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- Checked again, including the junk queue, nothing. Anyway there is a week to sort this out so it's entirely possible they haven't sent the email yet. Nthep (talk) 20:11, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- @Nthep: any news today? Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 11:11, 25 August 2014 (UTC)
