Hello, Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Dina Rae (singer), for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Dina Rae (singer) to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.
If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.
Thanks, Prestonmag (talk) 20:31, 11 August 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I'm This lousy T-shirt. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Dina Rae (singer) seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —This lousy T-shirt— (talk) 16:47, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
@This lousy T-shirt: Thanks but I have got Dina on Facebook (she sent me a signed copy of "The Dina Rae Show" and my mother a copy of her "Powerhouse With a Pen" and she has stated those musical artists in her facebook page. Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 16:49, 13 August 2014 (UTC)

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Dina Rae.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Dina Rae.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 19:16, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
Image without license
Unspecified source/license for File:Dina Rae.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Dina Rae.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (Talk • Contribs • Owner) 19:45, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Dina Rae.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Dina Rae.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - @Anupmehra: I don't know how to add the copyright tag; I can't find Pep Williams Photography or Pep Williams (photographer) anywhere on Wikipedia; I know she had it as a profile picture on Facebook and on her Google+ account; what should I do; can you help me out please? Thanks in advance. Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 19:49, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
- @Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$: - In most cases, the images uploaded to use in Wikipedia articles should be copyright-free images. In some particular cases, Wikipedia allows non-free images. If you are the copyright holder of image/s, please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. In present case, the image you uploaded appears to be copied from Google+ and therefore is a copyright violation. Copyright holder is one, who clicked the picture and you are required to have permission from the photographer to use his picture on here. See, Wikipedia:Uploading images for a detailed guideline on uploading images on Wikipedia. Hope, it does help. If not, feel free to ask me more questions. - (edit conflict) Yes, you may send emails to the copyright holder of the images asking them to release their photos under any compatible free licenses. I've earlier tried it and it worked for me most of the times. You may also search for copyright free images on Flickr (remember to set search parameters). I wish you luck that you get positive replies from the copyright holder. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 20:20, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

- @Anupmehra: Not to sound like I'm making it up; I Googled a picture of Dina Rae and the picture that I found was that one but it was small; so I just re-sized it and saved it to Paint (don't know how to use Photoshop) does that count as own work or does it need Pep Williams still even though I edited it? Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 20:38, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
- If you've edited a copyright free image, then that will count as your work. If you've edited some other person's work without their permission, it is similar to stealing some other person's work. Most of the images on internet are copyrighted and protected by International copyright treaties. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 20:57, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:The Dina Rae Show.jpeg

Thanks for uploading File:The Dina Rae Show.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:19, 16 August 2014 (UTC)
Non-free rationale for File:The Slim Shady LP CD tracklisting.jpeg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:The Slim Shady LP CD tracklisting.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 19:47, 16 August 2014 (UTC)

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to X (Chris Brown album), without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. STATic message me! 21:34, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of And?

The article And? has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Appears to be a non-notable song: title too unspecific to make into a redirect to the artist biog.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TheLongTone (talk) 22:50, 19 August 2014 (UTC)
- Just to add to the above...There is little point in creating articles about songs unless there is a clear & referenced claim to notability...chart appearances, serious critical attention &c. Also, both the above article and Can't Even C It incorporate huge chunks simply lifted from the biog...for this reason I changedCan't Even C It into a redirect to the biog. I would concentraye on finding sources for this to establish notability.TheLongTone (talk) 22:58, 19 August 2014 (UTC)

Your addition to Dina Rae (singer) has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. I am referring to your re-upload of the deleted file File:Dina Rae (singer).jpeg. If you continue uploading copyrighted images falsely claiming them to be your own you will be blocked from editing. January (talk) 07:38, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
Hello Bling$. Did you notice that the file was deleted three times? If you have permission from the photographer/copyright holder, then the best solution is to ask them to email the OTRS team at permissions-en@wikimedia.org using the format at WP:CONSENT. When that email has been sent, you can add the {{OTRS pending}} template to the file page. If the permission is confirmed, an OTRS agent will add a confirmation template. Don't worry if the image is deleted because it can always be undeleted if need be, but please avoid uploading the file repeatedly. Green Giant (talk) 23:02, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
- Green Giant Done that thanks though; the photographer allowed it. Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 14:30, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- A twitter feed is not good enough. There needs to be an email from the photographer to OTRS. Also you keep uploading this photo with inappropriate templates attached which make the issue more confusing. Please do not upload the image again until the permission issue is satisfactorily resolved. As Green Giant states the image can be undeleted easily once permission has been received and confirmed. Nthep (talk) 14:39, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- Nthep; nah that was about a different picture Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 14:58, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- The principle remains the same, don't keep uploading an image until the permission is sorted out. Nthep (talk) 15:01, 24 August 2014 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Dina Rae (singer).jpeg

Thank you for uploading File:Dina Rae (singer).jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Orphaned non-free image File:The Dina Rae Show.jpeg

Thanks for uploading File:The Dina Rae Show.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 18:18, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- @Stefan2:, the article was deleted; people reached the verdict that it should be deleted; so I guess we can delete the picture, do you know how I can archive my talk page as I have to scroll to reach the new subject? Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$ (talk) 18:21, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- As the file currently is unused, someone will delete it in approximately one week, unless it is added to a page somewhere.
- For archiving, add something like this at the top of the page:
{{User:MiszaBot/config | algo=old(7d) | archive=User talk:Bling$Bling$Blang$Blang$/Archive %(counter)d | counter=1 | maxarchivesize=100K | archiveheader={{Automatic archive navigator}} | minthreadsleft=4 | minthreadstoarchive=1 }}
- With that code, all sections will be archived seven days after the latest edit. --Stefan2 (talk) 18:33, 24 August 2014 (UTC)

Please do not remove file deletion tags from file description pages on Wikipedia, as you did to File:Dina Rae (singer).jpeg, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary.
