Actephila excelsa is a species of plant in the Phyllanthaceae family. It is endemic to Sri Lanka.

Leaves

very variable, oblong-linear to broadly oval, tapering base.

Bark - lenticulate, dark brown, leaf-scarred.

small, axillary clusters.

Fruits

dark green, 3-lobed capsule on long stalk; persistent calyx at base.
