Critical Reception:

This is a bit confusing: The Article says: "Cocos2d is not considered as powerful as OpenGL ES". This is not an adequate comparison: OpenGL ES is a graphics framework whereby Cocos2D focuses on simplifying game programming. Actually Cocos2D uses OpenGL ES to render the graphics. Even OpenGL ES 2.0 with custom shaders is supported already in the current alpha Version. This is very much like comparing apples with oranges. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.79.6.10 (talk) 10:28, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Q

Why is this a 'stub'? O.o I didn't know/wasn't sure where tp mention the following, so I came here (apologies if wrong in doing so). I wanted to mention that the link near the beginning of article is inappropriate for a Wikipedia internal link as it leads to an external site, not an article Skopp (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 19:17, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Books

There are something like 8 books about this framework in Google Books. I'm not sure which to recommend as "further reading", and I'm feeling to lazy too list all of them... JMP EAX (talk) 20:48, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
