What is a 'Unicode symbol'?

I have read nott about a Unicode symbol in Unicode http://unicode.org/] or other sources. I think "Unicode symbols" is not defined, and is even misleading (as if Unicode created symbols?). If the title is not based, we'd better to move it to Symbols in Unicode. -DePiep (talk) 08:08, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
