I recommend the multiple comparison book by Tamhane & Hochberg. They have also worked with the wizards at the SAS Institute to publish a user-friendly guide (and also a workbook) on multiple comparisons. One-sided vs two-sided p-values

I think the article would be improved by adding some information about whether to use one- or two-sided p-values and how this affects conclusions. Especially in comparison with Stouffer's method. Should one ever combine two-sided p-values if the effect direction is different in some of the tests? 130.237.191.205 (talk) 09:50, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
