A Part program is a set of instructions given to a Computerized numerical control (CNC) machine.

CNC is an automation to machine tools such as A lathe controlled by program rather than manually i.e. by hand. Thus CNC has 3 main components such as

A program (part program).
Machine controller unit.
processing unit.
