I'm reverting this page back to the disc image page. *.mds files can be used in more than just Alcohol 120%. Rockfang (talk) 02:29, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
MDF as the database file format from MSSQL products
I suppose to add some information about MDF file format, which doesn't relate to disk format like ISO. For e.g. there is an MDF file format for MSSQL database server file. I think it's important to add some info not to confuse users. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.188.126.44 (talk) 06:33, 25 April 2014 (UTC)

Mirror Disk File → Media Descriptor File – No sources ever use the name "Mirror Disk File", but most sources I found use "Media Descriptor File". In Alcohol 52% it is called "Media Descriptor Image File". Explorer09 (talk) 07:34, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
