Global Address Space Programming Interface is an API for the development of scalable, asynchronous and fault tolerant parallel applications.[1] It is an implementation of the partitioned global address space programming model.[2]

The software is developed by the Fraunhofer Institute of Technological and Ecomony Mathematics (ITWM) and is distributed by the Scapos AG company.[2]
