Nathan 'Nate' L. Libby is an American politician from Maine. A graduate of Bates College, Libby was elected to the Lewiston City Council, representing Ward 3, in 2012. In 2012, Libby was also elected to the Maine House of Representatives from District 73, covering part of Lewiston, Maine.[1] When State Senator Margaret Craven announced her retirement from the Legislature in February 2014, Libby announced his campaign for Lewiston's State Senate seat. He will face Republican insurance agent Patricia Gagne in the November 2014 general election.[2]
