Robo Shankar is a Tamil stand-up comedian who has also appeared in character roles in Tamil films. He made his breakthrough with STAR Vijay's Kalakkapovathu Yaaru performing stand up comedy. He is a now a cast regular on several shows on STAR Vijay and has presented television shows for the channel.[1]
Career
Robo Shankar made his breakthrough with STAR Vijay's Kalakkapovathu Yaaru performing stand up comedy in 2007. He participated in Season 6 of the dance competition Jodi Number One in 2013, finishing in third place alongside his partner Sandhya. He is a now a cast regular on several shows on STAR Vijay including Jodi Number One and Adhu Idhu Edhu and has presented television shows for the channel.
He has also appeared in films, playing supporting roles in Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara (2013) and Vaayai Moodi Pesavum (2014) amongst other appearances.
