Andrew Falwell Solving Engineering Problem with Computer Code

Andrew Scott Falwell (born September 22, 1993) is a photographer and creative engineer.

Falwell lives and works as a resident assistant in Likins Hall on the University of Arizona, where he is a sophomore studying chemical engineering. Falwell is extremely involved on campus and is currently the Committee Chair for ASUA Students for Sustainability Water committee, where he oversees the growth and progress of four committee project managers and their assignments, grants, schematics, mathematical models, and emails with professionals.

Falwell has worked with Laron Inc. as an engineering operations management intern, where he learned and utilized LEAN manufacturing, SWOTT analysis and basic Six Sigma applications to maximize efficiency of various corporate operations.

A recent project in 2013-2014 involved Falwell being the primary author of a grant for $60,000 and gathering various professional entities for the installation of a 28,000 gallon water collection cistern at the University of Arizona Community Garden.

During his employment at Liquibox Inc., Falwell assisted in conducting Bruceton Analysis for product failure thresholds, assisted in retrofitting a plastic production line, and trained employees on safe working practices and chemical usage.

Design

Falwell has designed various C programming documents to predict chemical behavior, as well as the Excel model used as the basis for ASUA Students for Sustainability's Water Committee and an excel-based cost-benefit analysis model for Laron Inc.
