The Gurdjieff Journal, founded in 1992 by William Patrick Patterson, is the first and only publication devoted entirely to exploring G. I. Gurdjieff’s teaching of The Fourth Way, a sacred, seminal teaching of self-development that reveals how to use ordinary life to realize one’s real life. In its first years through Vol. 7 Issue #3, the Journal was known as Telos and afterwards changed to The Gurdjieff Journal.
Issues & Subjects
Each of the tri-annual issues grounded in fact and based on original research and direct expression features a lead article, additional research articles, essays and interviews, as well as book and film reviews. The aim is to unflinchingly explore the many levels of the spiritual in an endeavor to separate the real from the pseudo-real.
