The term *Tech Geek* is a vernacular expression referring to high wage-earning employees typically of large tech corporations like Google and Apple, but it can also refer to tech workers at start-ups.
Tech geek is often used in the pejorative to suggest:
* elitism * selfishness * being out of touch * disingenuousness * lacking compassion for other human beings.
