Resource and Energy Economics (REE) is a journal on energy economics and environmental economics published by Elsevier.[1] The journal is published four times a year, in January, May, September, and November respectively.[3]

Accessibility

Access to articles is not free by default, but people may purchase individual articles or buy individual or institutional subscriptions to the journal.[4]

REE supports open access publishing.[1][3] This means that authors may choose to pay a fee to have their work freely available on the journal website.[5] Dissemination of the articles by authors in other venues is governed by Elsevier's policies.[6]

Impact and reception

As of February 2014, the journal's official page claims an impact factor of 1.495 and a five-year impact factor of 1.819.[1]
