Altnabreac is a small settlement in Caithness, Highland, Scotland, notable for its remoteness. It consists of Altnabreac railway station, the former Altnabreac School (now a house), a couple of scattered dwellings, and can only be approached along unsurfaced roads from the main road network many miles away.

Altnabreac, as with nearby Dounreay, was considered as a location for a final repository for the UK's nuclear waste, however this idea was not pursued.
