As of right now, you do not need to register in order to use Vada. Anyone can use it it (once it's released). It is currently in pre-alpha development, and is expected to be released in Alpha 1.0 soon.

Installation

The first thing you need to do is to go to your your common.js file and add the following:

importScript("User:A930913/vada/import.js"); //Vada!

After doing this, you'll need to bypass your cache.

Technically, Vada is now installed. However, if you want to do anything with it, you'll need to install a plugin (or two). You can do this by heading over to the vada plugin headquarters and following the instructions there.

Using Vada

Congrats! You have now installed Vada and hopefully a plugin or two! Now, you're going to want to head over to Wikipedia:Vada/Run (click that link). Hopefully, a page should load and you'll know that it worked. If it didn't work, head over to the Vada talk page and ask for help.

Using a plugin

Figure one: Selecting a plugin

You can select a plugin to use by hovering over the Vada (add logo here later) symbol on the top-left of the tool (see figure one for an example).

Example

Let's try using the 'Typo Fixing' plugin. When you hover over the Vada logo in the top left (as explained above), you should see a drop-down list appear. These are the plugins that you have installed! Click on one of the 'Typo Fixing' plugin. Once this opens, wait for the queue to load (see figure two).

Figure two: The queue loader

Once some articles load up in the queue, click on one of the articles that load up in the queue (or just click on the blue arrow ()). The original edit is on the left, the proposed changes are highlighted on the right in green (see figure three).
