Trichozoa is a group of excavate protists.[1]
"Fornicata" is a similar grouping,[2] but it excludes Parabasalia.[3]
"Eopharyngia" is an even more narrow grouping, including Retortamonadida and Diplomonadida but not Carpediemonas.[3]
