Promotional

An excellent cut and paste from some kind of marketing document. The attempt to achieve a neutral point of view may be hampered in cases by using "we" when describing actions and opinions that must surely attribute to Versant itself or its agents and employees.

The is no mention of the cost of Versant or it's licensing models - surely these represent valuable information in this Wiki page. As much as feature sets and performance issues.

Pure marketing. Although the subject is noteworthy otherwise in Wikipedia. Maybe it should be deleted and rewritten from a neutral point of view, evidenced with proper references.

It is too promotional in tone, and this problem existed for far too long. Options are either to edit it down (my preference), delete, or merge to Versant Corporation. Note with the company's apparent demise, should be written into past tense and noted to be historical. W Nowicki (talk) 00:41, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
