Template:Convert/Transwiki guide

It is reasonably easy to copy {{convert}} to another wiki because convert is implemented with Module:Convert and only a handful of pages need to be copied. When copying a page, please use an edit summary like the following (change the name in the link to be the same as the page being copied):

copy from [[:en:Module:Convert]]

If your wiki has importers, they may be able to use Special:Import to copy the pages along with all the revision history.

There is currently no guide for how to adapt the module for use at another wiki. Please ask for assistance at Module talk:Convert. That would be desirable to give better and easier results, and it would assist the maintainers of the module to identify any issues that arise and which should be fixed here.
