Copy

It seems to be a copy & paste from the Kalman Filter article —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.143.165.153 (talk) 01:20, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Quality

This article seems to be a copy of part of the Kalman filter article, or vice versa.

Connections need to be made with other Bayes techniques. --84.9.86.240 14:37, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

The Bayes filter article is redundant and more informal than this article. In my opinion it should be deleted and "Bayes filter" shoud be a synonym for this page. The article does discuss some of the practical uses of Bayesian filtering which might be appropriate to flesh out in greater detail here. However, it suggests that Bayesian filtering is only used for robot localization, which is only one of many applications.72.77.101.147 (talk) 03:16, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Free variables and given values

Do capitals mean fixed, given values, and lower-case variables indicate free variables? In that case, the z_k should be as capital as z_{k-1} in the last equations... -- NIC1138 (talk) 01:58, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
