Cross-domain interoperability refers to the interaction of the virtual cyber world and the physical world. Interoperability is the method of systems working together in information exchange; the term “cross-domain” in this instance refers to differing entities sharing a common mission, interest or goal, which may be separated by political, legal, social or other boundaries.[1]
