Cross-domain interoperability refers to the interaction of the virtual cyber world and the physical world. Interoperability is the method of systems working together; the term “domain” in this instance refers to entities having a common mission, interest or goal, which may be separated or defined by political, legal, social or other limitations. Multiple domains may be needed for effective information exchange.[1]
