Cross-domain interoperability refers to the interaction of the virtual cyber world and the physical world. Interoperability is the method of systems working together. The term “domain” in this instance refers to entities having a common mission, interest or goal, which may be separated or defined by political, legal, social or other limitations. Multiple domains may be needed for effective information exchange.[1]
