Studies in Language Testing (SiLT) is a series of academic volumes containing papers in the fields of education and applied linguistics related to language testing and assessment. It is published by Cambridge University Press and University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations and was established in 1995. Its scope encompasses all aspects related to language testing, including assessing productive language skills (speaking and writing) and receptive language skills (listening and reading); testing standards, test development and validation; fairness and ethical issues; the historical evolution of examinations; testing for specific purposes; and the social and educational impact of assessment.
