History
General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems was named in 2002 after a reorganization of General Dynamics Corporation. The company represents the acquisition and realignment of other government and defense contractors including GTE, Lucent Technologies, Digital Systems Resources (DSR), Veridian, Motorola and Spectrum Astro.
Cyber Security
General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems is one of three of General Dynamics business units that provides cyber security offerings to the government. On August 28, 2012 General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems completed the acquisition of Fidelis Security Systems, a provider of network analysis and cyber security tools.[1]
