Brian A. Sayrs is a citizen advocate, elected and appointed to multiple positions of community trust:
- Liberty Lake City Council, Position 6;
- Spokane Transit Authority Chairman of the Board;
- STA's representative to the Spokane Regional Transportation Council; and
- Spokane Regional Light Rail Steering Committee Vice Chair.
He serves on multiple committees, including:
- Liberty Lake Council's Community Development Committee;
- STA's Executive Committee; and
- Central Valley School District's Community Linkages Committee.
Previously, he has served on:
- Liberty Lake Council's Parks and Recreation Committee;
- Council Liaison to the Liberty Lake Trails Committee;
- Member of the National League of Cities' Communications and Information Technology Policy Committee;
- Spokane Transit Authority's Reinvention Task Force;
- Spokane Transit Authority's Operations and Customer Service Committee;
- Spokane Transit Authority's Finance and Administration Committee; and
- Rural Feeder Van Service Collaboration Team.
Brian is an Association of Washington Cities Certified Municipal Leader. He is also the Democratic Precinct Committee Officer for Spokane County Precinct 4300, and a member of Spokane's Warren G. Magnuson Democratic Club.
Brian is a Charter Member of the Liberty Lake Centennial Rotary, and serves at its Community Service Chairman.
