redirect discussion

  • Citronella currently redirects to lemongrass, but citronella is also a completely unrelated plant of the geranium family, image here and website with information here. This plant is said to ward off mosquitoes.
  • Also there are citronella candles used to ward off mosquitoes.
  • I am currently not sure whether the candles are based on the geranium, or lemongrass plant, or if one is named after the other, or if the citronella is a relatively common species identifier used for plants with a simlar, if unrelated, fragrance.
  • Will do more research, and may remove the redirect, or perhaps make a disambiguation page. Santaduck 08:18, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
