Wikistorming aka Storming Wikipedia
We could use some references to support discussion on this issue, especially as it pertains to Wikipedia. Their section on it is here and there is an August 30 report by CampusReform and later a September 6 report by Fox News about it. It seems notable to list which of the fifteen (potentially more?) universities are participating in this initiative to engage in a mass editing campaign on Wikipedia. CR mentions some:
- Yale University
- Brown University
- Pennsylvania State University
- Pitzer College (California)
- Bowling Green State University
- California Polytechnic State University
- Colby-Sawyer College
- The City University of New York Graduate Center
- Macaulay Honors College
- Lehman College (CUNY)
- The New School
- Ohio State University
- Ontario College of Art and Design University
- Rutgers University
- University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
I'm wondering if someone might help in locating that 8th one since I got a red link from it. Would it be relevant to include this list of co-operating colleges in the article? Should they be ordered alphabetically, by state? Ranze (talk) 01:27, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
-- here's the link for the Graduate Center at CUNY: http://www.gc.cuny.edu/Home In terms of organizing the list of participating institutions, there are some international institutions, so organizing by state might not be ideal, although one could do a US and International section to help address that. Why not simply do an alphabetical list? DCavendish (talk) 13:41, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

Also wondering if it would be appropriate to include their video links. There is an hour long video on editing Wikipedia and a 2 minute video "Wiki Party" clip. Ranze (talk) 01:33, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
