How does this algorithm differ from the Gauss-Legendre algorithm? AxelBoldt 02:00 26 May 2003 (UTC)

After comparing them both and looking around on Google a bit, it seems that they don't differ at all - "Salamin-Brent" or ("Brent-Salamin") and "Gauss-Legendre" merely seem to be different names for the same algorithm. We should probably fold both articles into one and put a redirect into the other one. --schnee
