Bokkyu Kim

I am a licensed physical therapist in South Korea. I have three-year clinical experiences in neurologic physical therapy area in South Korea. I have two bachelors' degree — bachelor of physical therapy and bachelor of health management — and a MS degree in rehabilitation science. My research during the master's course was related to neurobiology of spinal cord injury in rats. Current my research interest is understanding mechanism underlying motor learning of individuals after stroke, and developing novel therapeutic approaches for people with neurologic disorder based on the motor learning mechanism to ameliorate their physical function. The goals for this course is to improve my scientific writing skills, and to learn about how I can communicate effectively with other people about my research.
