Yale Program on Climate Change Communication
Appearance
The Yale Project on Climate Change Communication is an organization lobbying on behalf of taking action to avoid dangerous climate change that grew out of a conference held in Aspen, Colorado in 2005 by the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. According to its website, the Project does the following:
- Conducts research on public climate knowledge, risk perceptions, decision-making and behavior;
- Designs and tests new strategies to engage the public in climate science and solutions;
- Empowers educators and communicators with the knowledge and tools to more effectively engage their audiences.[1]
One of its projects is the Yale Forum on Climate Change and the Media, which hosts a number of YouTube videos on its official channel. Peter Sinclair is responsible for some of these videos. The Forum also hosts a blog focused on global warming and other environmental issues.
