  • wikEd, a full-featured Wikipedia-integrated text editor that adds enhanced text processing functions to edit pages. wikEd works on all MediaWiki installations. (last updated Jan, 2013)

  • Wikipedia Bilingual - displays a Wikipedia article in 2 of the languages in which it is available, side by side (for example, Russian and Spanish). Also available as a Firefox extension. (last updated Feb, 2007)
  • Amalgam crosslinks Wikipedia with 14 English and 7 German online encyclopedias. (last updated Sep, 2011)
  • wikipedia rearrange other languages - Allows you to hide languages you don't know and sort those you do. (last checked Aug, 2013)
  • Wiki language switcher - Puts click-able titles behind the article title. (last updated July, 2013)

Typography

  • SmartQuotes (changelog) – converts typewriter quotation marks to “smart” quotes and triple periods to ellipses. (last updated August, 2013)
  • DumbQuotes – does the opposite of SmartQuotes.
  • Wikepedia Easy Read – very clean, big letter article layout without disturbing elements. You need a Wikipedia search plugin for your browser if you still want to search through Wikipedia. (last updated April, 2008)

Misc

  • Wikimedia secure links - Fixes links to Wikimedia websites to use the secure HTTPS interface. (last updated May, 2008)
  • Wikipedia Rewrite URLs for Redirects - Changes the URL of a redirected article to the article it was redirected to. (last updated Oct, 2009‎)
  • Google search - Adds links to the tools menu to do a Google search for the article title. (last updated Aug, 2009)
  • Random colors - Blends random colors on the background of articles. (last checked Sept, 2013)
