BIT Numerical Mathematics is a scientific journal which covers research in numerical analysis. The journal was established by Carl Erik Fröberg in 1961 and is published by Springer Science+Business Media. It has been ranked a level 2 journal since 2007.[1]

The name "BIT" is a reverse acronym of Tidskrift för Informationsbehandling (Swedish: "Journal of Information Processing").[2]
