Mandriva and Mageia
What is the connection or (past?)relation of Unity Linux with Mandriva or Mageia?--78.48.229.236 (talk) 21:03, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
I haven't talked to the devs in ages, but when I talked to them last, the packages were based heavily on Mandriva packages, and the vast majority of Mandriva packages could be installed in Unity Linux without causing any issues. Note of appreciation
I appreciate having articles such as this. If it hadn't been a less well knowndistro I wouldn't have had to look it up in the first place. Thanks goes out to those who've contributed to this and other Linux themed articles.
