Jonathan Dean Welch (February 4, 1962 - October 17, 2011)was an American opera singer and musical evangelist. Welch performed with such American companies as the Metropolitan, the Lyric, Orange County and San Diego, as well as with the Vienna, Hagen and Weisbaden Staadsopern, Scottish National Opera and the Tokyo National Symphony. Welch received the Metropolitan Young Artists Award, and was mentioned in Template:''name''
