Jonathan Dean Welch (February 4, 1962 - October 17, 2011)was an American opera singer and musical evangelist. Welch performed with such companies as the Metropolitan and Lyric Opera companies, as well as the Vienna, Hagen and Weisbaden Staadsopern, Glasgow opera and the Tokyo National Symphony.
