I'm not sure about the statement "As you can see from the definition above, in an ideal amplifier where Vin+ = Vin-, the open loop gain (Aol) becomes infinite". An open-loop amplifier doesn't have Vin- = Vin+ because there's no feedback. The amplifier continues to change its output voltage to 'try to make Vin+ = Vin-', meaning it's the Vout term that becomes infinite for an ideal open-loop amplifier, not (vin+ - Vin-) becoming zero. Any ideas on how to reword this so the statement has the correct cause and effect, or should the statement just be removed?
