Openmatics is a telematic platform developed by Openmatics s.r.o., a subsidiary of ZF Friedrichshafen AG. The company Openmatics was founded in 2010 and has 63 employees in Pilsen and 20 in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Openmatics focuses on offering telematic services by providing an open and flexible platform. The system consists of the following components – an on-board unit, portal, app shop, and apps. The main focus and categories of the apps include driveline and diagnostics, eco and savings, fleet management, safety and security, entertainment and info.
