Rationale for the {{DANFS talk}} header

Though this is not copied from a single source from DANFS, sections for some of the individual fleet problems have been copied from the entries cited in the article. — Bellhalla (talk) 23:09, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chronology

Just to confirm: no exercises were held in 1935 and two were held (concurrently?) in 1936? Danceswithzerglings (talk) 20:31, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the source for Fleet Problem XVI, the year was, in fact, 1935 for XVI. Thanks for bringing it to attention. — Bellhalla (talk) 20:46, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your work on this. Were the postwar execises of the Navy accorded a different name? Danceswithzerglings (talk) 23:43, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have a reference showing VP-6F participated in Fleet Problem XVIII on 1937-Apr-23. See H.E. Leedom logbook at http://www.pbycia.org (logbook URL may change). VP-1F may have participated on that date as well. Both were based at FAB Pearl Harbor at the time. Pbyhistorian (talk) 19:28, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
