Transdev TSL is a 50/50 joint venture between Transdev and Transfield Services that operates ferries in Brisbane. It previously operated buses in Sydney and trams in Melbourne.

History

In August 1999 MetroLink Victoria Pty Ltd commenced operating the Yarra Trams franchise segment of Melbourne's tram system.[1] In April 2004 they took over the remaining services from M>Tram services from National Express.[1] And by 2007 was part of the TransdevTSL group.[2] All of TransdevTSL's tram operations passed to KDR Melbourne in November 2009.[3]

In November 2003 TransdevTSL was awarded a contract by the Brisbane City Council to operate the Brisbane Ferries service.[4] In November 2010 this was extended for a further 10 years.[5]

In 2005 Transfield Services purchased a 50% interest in Transdev's Shorelink bus operation in Sydney. This was sold back to Transdev in 2010.[6]
