The Divided Visual Field Paradigm is a concept used in studies that test visual perception. It operates on the concept that when a person using binocular convergence is looking at a point in front of them, there is still visual information to the right and to the left of the fixations. Those fields are the Right Visual Field (RVF to the right) and Left Visual Field (LVF to the left).[1] Information gathered in LVF is transfered to the visual cortex and information from the RVF to the left hemisphere through optic chiasm.
