ET21 is a name for Polish transport electric locomotive

History

ET21 is a first post-war Polish electric transport locomotive. Designing works started in 1955

Introduction

Production started in 1957 in Wrocław Pafawag. It was devoted for heavy transport and heavy passenger transport. Because of it the locomotive had electric heating device installed. A total number of 658 machines was produced.

Presend days

After introducing EU06 and EU07 locomotives ET21 was systematicaly moved only into cargo transport. Removing from stock started in seventies and it went on until nineties.
