Focus Technology

Focus Technology (simplified Chinese: 焦点科技) was founded on January 9, 1996, and currently the headquarters was located at Nanjing new & high technology industrial development zone.

History

When started at the very beginning, it was service provider of internet application and other value-added services mainly for small & medium China enterprises. Then in 1998, it developed the E-commerce website Made-in-China.com, aim to connect global buyers with China suppliers & manufactures. The website has been owned and operated by Focus Technology since then and has gradually become the major revenue source for the company.

Financial Analysis

According to the Consolidated - Audited financial statement for the first three cumulated quarters of 2012, total net operating revenues increased with 8.04%, from CNY 311,132.15 thousands to CNY 336,149.74 thousands. Operating result decreased from CNY 106,956.94 thousands to CNY 76,628.43 thousands which means -28.36% change. The results of the period decreased -23.26% reaching CNY 91,178.43 thousands at the end of the period against CNY 118,821.64 thousands last year. Return on equity (Net income/Total equity) went from 7.52% to 5.45%, the Return On Asset (Net income / Total Asset) went from 6.69% to 4.84% and the Net Profit Margin (Net Income/Net Sales) went from 38.19% to 27.12% when compared to the same period of last year. The Debt to Equity Ratio (Total Liabilities/Equity) was 12.61% compared to 12.35% of last year. Finally, the Current Ratio (Current Assets/Current Liabilities) went from 8.78 to 8.68 when compared to the previous year. ^[1]
