Resolution Enhancement Technology

Resolution refers to the sharpness of image detail, smoothness of curved lines, and the faithful reproduction of an image.

RET is a form of image data processing to manipulate dot characteristics popular among laser printer OEMs, in photolighography, semiconductor technology and in the 90 nanometer technology . Among the major issues in RET are : fundamental properties of a wave: amplitude, phase, and direction.
