Question: Create article for broader concept of "keyword"?

(Original threadstarter did not title thread. --Netizen (talk) 15:27, 27 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]
The concept of a keyword within a text file of a defined language or format is broader than programming languages specifically. Keywords of this type also extend to other structured files, such as dumpfiles, to give one example. Is there a broader umbrella category this title can be put under that will include all of these contexts and reflect the scope more accurately?

Merge to Reserved word

I’ve merged this to Reserved word, in this edit and this edit (and following cleanup ones). This is because the articles mention them as synonyms, and they are visibly used by many interchangeably (e.g., the C standard), and thus this is better suited for a “Definition” section of one article.
