Swingrass '83 was a jazz and folk music ensemble which recorded one eponymous album for Antilles Records.[1][dead link]

Members Andy Statman, Richard Greene, Marty Krystall, Peter Ivers, Fred Tackett, Peter Erskine and Buell Neidlinger crafted the album in studio but with no overdubbing.[1]

The album consists of renditions of three songs apiece by Duke Ellington and Thelonious Monk, plus a couple of group originals.[2]

Not yet issued on CD, the album was originally issued in 1983 and reissued in 1990 on Mango Records.[2]
